Using premium tinted 8mil PPF created by our friends at TWraps, this serves a double-purpose of looking cool, and protecting your front lights from rock chips. Installation is very straightforward, as there's no difficult edges or corners to deal with; it just needs patience; so choose a time where you've got a spare hour, and the temperature is between 60-80f (15-26c).

In the box:

About "VLT"

An important characteristic of tint films is the VLT - Visible Light Transmission. It means how much of the light in the visible light spectrum will go through that film. For instance, 50% VLT means that half the light will go through the film. The smaller the VLT number, the darker the film and less light will transmit through it. The most popular option is the 50% VLT.

ℹ️ About The PPF Kits

All of our Rivian PPF kits are designed for DIY installation. This means that none of the PPF needs to be edge-wrapped, as that's a skilled task that also required other tools. Our kits are cut to get close to the edge of the panel or section being covered, but not so close that it'll lift, allowing dirt or grit to get underneath. Is it legal?

There's no federal law, so it's at the state level, and even then, it's ambiguous in many states, so you should check your state laws, and make a judgement call. For example, here in Texas, we're supposed to have front license plates. We never have, and even when stopped, it's never been mentioned. Ultimately the enforcement might depend on the mood of the traffic officer, so be nice to them :-) We have the 50% tint on our R1T.
