Premium Rotating Screen Mount for Model 3/Y (Full Rotation)

Model 3/Y (2nd Gen Console)

Please make a selection on all options

We LOVE this product, it's the premium upgrade for your Model 3/Y center screen, allowing 30° rotation left or right, 15° up or down, with a natural 'notch' in the center for easy alignment.

Taking about 30 minutes to install, you'll be left wondering why it was not designed this way from the factory. Beautifully engineered and shipping with all the tools you need, it's fully compatible with all Left Hand Drive Model Y & 3's with the Second Generation center console. If installed with a 1st generation center console, the door over the phone section will not open fully, as it will make contact with the new mounting bracket. Here's a quick video showing it with a 1st-gen console, and below a picture so you know if you have a first or second gen console:

Some Model 3's have a different air sensor, but both options are covered with this kit. Made from lightweight 6061-T6 Aerospace Aluminum, with factory-matched trim panels, once installed this will look 100% like it came that way from the factory.

  • This does, of course, require removal of the screen, this is at your risk as we cannot be responsible for any damage. This is a straight-forward process, and the video below shows the step-by-step process, but please ensure you're comfortable with the process before purchasing.
  • After installation, the screen sits around 1.5" (45mm) lower and nearer you. If you have a 2nd-gen center console (with the felt Qi-charger) and use a larger phone, the top of the phone screen may be obscured by the center screen. Since the Qi -charging of larger phones is very hit or miss anyway, it doesn't bother us at all.

This is one of our favorite accessories! Please watch the video below, and note the following tips:

  • The bracket is very stiff to move when not installed. Although you can rotate it with your hands, it will need strength, and will not be easy.
  • The screen is fragile. As shown in the video, be sure to lay out a soft towel to place it on while working on the mount.
  • The main screen connector can be tight to remove. It's a robust connector, but just take your time with it, less wiggle, more pull, directly out.
  • Be sure to double-check all bolts for tightness before closing up the trim.

Is this compatible with right-hand drive Model 3 & Y?

No. Because the screen is slightly offset to allow for the 30 degrees of movement, it will be too close to the steering wheel in a RHD car. But, we are working on a RHD version, so stay tuned!

I can't move the bracket/hinge, will this work in my car?

Yes. The bracket, by design, is difficult, if not impossible, to rotate when it's not attached to both your car and the screen. This is to ensure the screen does not move when you don't want it to.

Will this invalidate my warranty?

As with any after-market accessory, if the manufacturer can explicitly prove the issue was caused by the accessory, then they may not honor any warranty claims.

Why do you not recommend it for 1st-generation center consoles?

To allow for the required amount of rotation, the bracket moves the screen forward and slightly down. On the first generation center console, this means the door covering the phone storage/charging area will not fully open. For many customers this is not an issue.
