FAQs

Looking to upgrade your Model 3 or Y center screen? Look no further! Our product allows for 30° rotation left or right, 15° up or down, with a natural 'notch' in the center for easy alignment.

Installation is quick and easy, taking about 30 minutes, and you'll be left wondering why it wasn't designed this way from the factory! Beautifully engineered and shipping with all the tools you need, it's fully compatible with all Left Hand Drive Model Y & 3's with the Second Generation center console. If installed with a 1st generation center console, the door over the phone section will not open fully, as it will make contact with the new mounting bracket, check out our quick video showing it with a 1st-gen console, and check the pictures below to see if you have a first or second gen console.

Some Model 3's have a different air sensor, but both options are covered with this kit. Made from robust, yet lightweight 6061-T6 Aerospace Aluminum, with factory-matched trim panels, once installed this will look 100% like it came that way from the factory. Please refer to our FAQ for more details.

Notes:

  • This does, of course, require removal of the screen, this is at your risk as we cannot be responsible for any damage. This is a straight-forward process, and the video below shows the step-by-step process, but please ensure you're comfortable with the process before purchasing.
  • After installation, the screen sits around 1.5" (45mm) lower and nearer you. If you have a 2nd-gen center console (with the felt Qi-charger) and use a larger phone, the top of the phone screen may be obscured by the center screen. Since the Qi -charging of larger phones is very hit or miss anyway, it doesn't bother us at all.
