Add that Model S/X Refresh vibe to your Model 3 or Y! Our range of steering yokes are beautifully hand-made, and come in three finishes:

  • Alcantara with (real) satin carbon fiber
  • Black nappa leather with  (real) satin carbon fiber
  • Black nappa leather with 'factory' plastic, i.e. the satin black plastic that you have on your current steering wheel

Note, the heated option is expected Summer 2022. Select your preferred finish and hit the Notify button to hear as soon as they're in stock. Your car must already have a heated wheel for this option to be supported with a replacement wheel.

Everything you need is included; the wheel is fully functional (there's no need to switch the scroll wheels from your existing wheel), and we include a 1/2" drive 10mm Hex Bit, which you'll need to get the center nut out.

The starting point for all of these yokes is a factory Tesla wheel, so you can be assured of the safety, and of course your same airbag is used. Please watch the video on the installation tab below for a better explanation of the process. It's technically very straight forward, the most difficult bit (by far!) is loosening the 10mm nut. There's a 'first drive' section at the end of the video to help you decide if a yoke is for you. We love it though, so much so that we've now installed one in our model Y as well!

Once done, this is easily one of the most striking upgrades you can make to your Model 3 & Y, and you'll love the feel of the yoke, and the feeling of space. Combine with our real satin carbon fiber stalk covers for a coordinated look.

Please watch the video below, installation is quite easy, just a bit of effort needed to remove the center nut that hold the wheel on, and, as always, the two connectors behind the airbag are a bit fiddly, but not a big deal.

❔ What's needed to complete the installation? Can I do it myself?

Absolutely! Check out the video on the Installation tab. It's technically easy, but requires a good amount of effort to undo, and retighten, the hex nut that holds the wheel on. If you have trouble aligning the wheel when re-fitting it, use a pencil on the sprocket to add some graphite (which acts as a dry lubricant).

❔ Will this impact my warranty?

No. All of these wheels are modified versions of the OEM factory wheels, and the airbag module is the one already in your car, so everything is still sourced from Tesla.

❔ What makes these 'premium'?

Each yoke is hand-made, taking about eight hours each. The carbon fiber is all real, and the leather is a supple, nappa leather. Unlike other options on the market, you don't have to move the scroll wheels from your existing wheel, everything is ready to go for you.

❔ Do they supported the heated steering wheel option?

We hope to have a heated version by late March, 2022.

❔ Does the alcantara option get dirty over time?

Alcantara has been used in high-wear areas of cars for many years. We've had a test version in our Model 3 for a few months, and there's no issues at all, but, we don't really eat in the car. If your car gets heavy use, you might find the leather options more practical, but, the alcantara can be cleaned and 'fluffed up' with a mild soap on a wet cloth.

❔ Why do I need a yoke?

It adds a striking new look to your Model 3 or Y. In addition, the new feeling of even more space, and visibility out front, is quite dramatic. A yoke is not for everyone, but we can see why Tesla put them in the refreshed S & X!

❔ How tight should the center bolt be?

It should be re-tightened to 80nm
